Halal Development Corporation (HDC) an agency established in 2006 to spearhead the development of Malaysia’s integrated and comprehensive halal ecosystem aims to capitalize on the growing demand for Halal products and services, by positioning Malaysia as the most competitive country to lead the global halal industry.

   

What is the Halal Sectoral Roadmap Implementation event (Halal SRI)?

The Halal Sectoral Roadmap Implementation (Halal SRI) is HDC’s inaugural event to showcase the development and initiatives led by HDC in driving the growth of 11 sectors within Malaysia’s Halal ecosystem, among others Halal Food Services and Halal Pharmaceutical, Halal Ingredients, Halal Medical Tourism, Halal Cosmetics, Halal Logistics and Halal Modest Fashion. The 2021 session will be focusing on the Halal Food Services and Pharmaceutical sectors.

   

Where and how can I be part of the Halal SRI 2021?

Halal SRI 2021 will be held virtually on 17th March 2021 to showcase the halal industry strategic plan and implementation of the sectoral roadmap in halal pharmaceutical and food services sectors. The event will be showcasing the following:

  • Halal Industry economic opportunities
  • Its contribution to socio economic development in the country
  • Strategic direction designed in two sectoral roadmap
  • How HDC play its role in facilitating implementation of the sectoral roadmap's initiative
  • Panel discussion with the experts covering the opportunities and challenges in halal
